Television Commercials & Infomercials

Please note, that commencing 1 August 2010 new fees will apply - click here.

CAD maintains different fee structures for classification of television commercials.

The Metropolitan fee structure applies to television commercials produced for a campaign which is broadcast nationally in a combination of metropolitan and regional markets, eg campaign on-air Sydney, Melbourne, Newcastle and Wollongong; OR in Metropolitan markets only (one or more of the five capital cities). The Regional fee structure applies to television commercials produced for a campaign which is broadcast solely in regional markets, eg a campaign on-air solely in Canberra. (A revision of a TVC that is part of a campaign that has aired in metro markets will be charged at the Metropolitan rates.) There is a separate fee structure for classification of Infomercials.

Please ensure you refer to these fees and confirm where the commercial will go to air when completing your application.
