Applying for Classification

To apply for classification of a TVC or infomercial, you will need to complete the relevant online forms. CAD's Online Application System allows you to apply for classification of a TVC or infomercial, submit an ad for a pre-production pre-check and review the status of the ads you and your agency have submitted to CAD. Or you can apply for classification via DVD-CAD.

CAD requires your completed application and ALL materials before classification can commence.

Please note, from 1 November 2010 Commercials Advice will no longer accept paper-based applications. This means that applications for classification of a TVC or infomercial, as well as pre-checks, will need to be submitted online using CAD’s Online Application System.
